Mahamrityunjaya Mantra

The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra (Sanskrit: महामृत्युंजय मंत्र, mahāmṛtyuṃjaya mantra "Great Death-conquering Mantra"), also called the Tryambakam Mantra, is a verse of the Rigveda (RV 7.59.12). It is addressed to Tryambaka, "the three-eyed one", an epithet of Rudra, later identified with Shiva.[1][2] The verse also recurs in the Yajurveda (TS 1.8.6.i; VS 3.60)[1]

Say Sorry, My Son! Say Sorry… - રઇશ મનીઆર

આ ગીતની શરૂઆત (અને અંત પણ) ભલે Say Sorry, My Son! થી થતા હોય, પણ ગીતનો હજુ પહેલો જ ફકરો વાંચી/સાંભળીને I am sorry, My Son! ............ ................

Art of SLEEPING

Sweet dreams are only part of the story

Like any extreme activity, it requires the nerves of steel, good choice of timing, location and the absence of suspicious cops. All this however is easier to achieve, because you are, well... asleep, so you can trust the unseen powers to take care of the rest. Long & restful sleep is by no means guaranteed, but perhaps somebody will take your picture and you'll wake up famous.

The largest flower in the world

Wow !!!  This is Incredible !!! One of God's jewels that so many may never see,
just had to share.

The largest flower in the world was blossoming in
Blanco, Veracruz, Mexico.
2 meters high and weighing 75 kilos, it has the peculiarity of blooming only
during three days every 40 years.

You'd only see it once or twice in a lifetime!

Shouldn't this qualify as the "8th Wonder of the World"?

Originally built in 1972 they are 4.25 metres in diameter and unaltered apart from the addition of a lock on the outside and an ‘emergency' chemical toilet inside. While not everyone's luxury choice, each pod provides cosy protection from the elements for up to three occupants.

First created for accommodation as an art project in 2004, owner Denis Oudendijk has 8 different models ready for use and is currently working on additional locations in central Amsterdam and Nantes, France.

Tree which has lived to be 5000 year-old

Tree which has lived to be 5000 year-old !
[ nature's wonders ]

Adansonia is a genus of eight species of tree, six native to Madagascar, one native to mainland Africa and the Arabian Peninsula and one to Australia. The mainland African species also occurs on Madagascar , but it is not a native of that island.
A typical common name is baobab. Other common names include boab, boaboa, bottle tree, upside-down tree, and monkey bread tree. The generic name honours Michel Adanson, the French naturalist and explorer who described A. digitata.

Adansonias reach heights of 5 to 30 metres (16 to 98 ft) and have trunk diameters of 7 to 11 metres (23 to 36 ft). Glencoe baobab - an African baobab specimen in Limpopo Province, South Africa, often considered the largest example alive, up to recent times had a circumference of 47 metres (154 ft).[2] Its diameter is estimated at about 15.9 metres (52 ft). Recently the tree split up into two parts and it is possible that the stoutest tree now is Sunland baobab, also in South Africa . The diameter of this tree is 10.64 m, with an approximate circumference of 33.4 metres.

Some baobabs are reputed to be many thousands of years old, which is difficult to verify, as the wood does not produce annual growth rings, though radiocarbon dating may be able to provide age data.

Skywalking

Skywalking is the newest and extremely risky photography fad to take the internet by storm. It consists of a photographer (or photographers) making their way to the top of very tall structures and clicking pictures which would make a normal person’s stomach drop off. This trend is certainly not for the faint-hearted. As it began on the Russian web, it is sometimes referred to as “Russian Planking”. Russian teens pose or “skywalk” hundreds of feet in the air with no safety equipment.

It all began with Russian teenager Marat Dupri. The daredevil began scaling buildings and other high-rise structures in Moscow in 2011. By September of that year, several of his photographers were featured on new sites , including the Daily Meal and Metro UK.  Busk, a Portuguese news site  also showed several photos of Russian teenagers imitating Dupri.

These pictures truly offer a glimpse of life on the edge.

હજુ માણસ નથી આવ્યો............
(
Courtesy
